A link from a supported service can show as a player on your page. Visitors listen, watch, or book without leaving it. Players are free on every plan.
Supported services
| Service | Paste a link to | Shows as a player by default |
|---|---|---|
| Spotify | A track, album, playlist, artist, episode, or show | Yes |
| Apple Music | An album, playlist, or song | Yes |
| SoundCloud | A track or a set | Yes |
| Bandcamp | An album or a track | Yes |
| YouTube | A video, a Short, or a live stream | Yes |
| Loom | A shared video | Yes |
| TikTok | A video, or a short vm.tiktok.com link | No |
| Calendly | Your booking page or one event | No |
| Cal.com | Your booking page or one event | No |
| Typeform | A form | No |
TikTok players do not play for visitors in India, so TikTok links start as cards. Calendly, Cal.com, and Typeform are tall, so they start as cards too. Turn any of them on when you want them.
Show a link as a player
- In the editor, click Add link and paste the link.
- Click Preview. Under the preview, the Show as player switch appears for a supported service.
- Turn the switch on or off, then click Add Link and Save.
To change an existing link, click it in the editor and use the same switch.
Bandcamp and TikTok short links load their player after you save, because pageo reads the player's id from the service.
Good to know
- A page shows up to 10 players. After that, the switch is off for new links.
- Videos show a still until a visitor taps play, so your page stays fast.
- Every player keeps an Open in link under it, for visitors who want the app.
- A tap on a video's play button counts as a click in your analytics. Plays inside a music player or a form are not counted, because they happen inside the service's own frame.
- If a service changes its links and pageo can no longer show the player, the link shows as a normal card.
GitHub sync
In pageo.json, add "display": "embed" to a link in gridLinks to show it as a player. See GitHub sync.
