Your page has two kinds of links. Links are the cards in the links section, with a title, a description, and an image. Social icons are the row of small icons under your bio. You add both in the editor.
Add a link
- Choose Edit in the toolbar.
- In the links section, choose the add button (Add a link or a block), then Link.
- Enter the address in Link URL and choose Preview link.
- Check the Title, the Description, and the image. Change any of them. A title holds up to 60 characters, and a description up to 200.
- Choose Add link, then Save in the toolbar.
Previews
Preview link reads the page at the address and fills in its title, description, and image. To use your own picture, choose Upload image in the preview, then crop it.
When pageo cannot read a page, it shows "pageo could not read this page. Add a title and a description yourself." Type them in, and the link saves as usual.
When you edit a saved link, Refresh details reads the page again. It is off while the link has your own image. Remove the image to refresh.
Featured and primary links
Two switches at the bottom of the link control where it sits on your page:
- Featured shows the link larger, across the full row. A link shown as a player cannot be featured.
- Primary link shows the link first, as your main link, with a pin on its corner. A page has one primary link. When you turn it on for another link, the new one replaces the old one.
Arrange, edit, and remove
In Edit, drag a card to move it. Select a card to open it, change it, and choose Update link.
To remove a link, choose the Remove link button on its corner. A message names the link, with Undo to bring it back. Nothing changes on your page until you choose Save.
To hide a link and keep its clicks, use Archive in the link's options. See Link options.
Social icons
- In Edit, choose the add button at the end of the icon row (Add social link).
- Enter a profile link, an email, or a phone number in Link, email, or phone.
- Choose Add link, then Save in the toolbar.
pageo picks the icon from the address. An email address becomes an email link, and a phone number becomes a call link. For a site pageo has no icon for, give the link a Link Title and pick a Link Color.
A page holds up to 12 social icons. Drag an icon to move it.
