pageo runs an MCP server, the standard way AI assistants connect to outside tools. Once you add it, you can ask your assistant about anyone with a public pageo page, for example "how do I book @maya" or "find designers on pageo".
The server reads only what a public page already shows. It needs no account and no sign-in, and it cannot change anything.
1Add pageo to your assistant
The server address is:
https://www.pageo.me/api/mcp
- Claude: open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste the address. Leave the OAuth fields empty. Free plans can add one custom connector.
- ChatGPT: turn on developer mode under Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced. Create a connector with the address and choose No authentication. Developer mode is on Plus, Pro, and Enterprise plans.
- Claude Code, Cursor, and other tools: add a remote MCP server with the address. It uses the streamable HTTP transport.
2Ask about a page
The assistant picks the right tool from your question. It has four:
- Get a pageo page reads one page: the name, role, bio, links, sections, and how to get in touch.
- List a page's posts lists the published posts on a page, newest first.
- Get a post reads one post.
- Search pageo pages finds pages by name, username, or role, and can narrow to a directory category such as Designers or Musicians.
What it can see
The server follows the same rules as the page itself:
- It reads only published pages. A private page, a page behind a content warning, and a suspended page return "not found".
- Search lists only pages that search engines may list, the same as the profile directory.
- It never sees drafts, form messages, subscribers, or analytics.
To keep your page out of AI assistants, make it private with pageo Pro in Settings, under Privacy and trust. See Privacy and verification.
Limits
Each address can make 60 tool calls a minute and 1,000 a day. Over the limit, the server asks the assistant to try again later.
Your page also has a Markdown version for AI tools that read the web directly, at pageo.me/yourusername.md.
