Payment links

Sell with a checkout link from Stripe, PayPal, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Buy Me a Coffee, or Ko-fi. The money goes to you, with no pageo fee.

A payment link is a link card with a button and a price. A visitor taps it and pays on your own checkout page. The money goes from the visitor to you through your provider. It never passes through pageo, and pageo takes no fee. Payment links are free on every plan.

Supported checkouts

ProviderLinks that work
StripePayment Links (buy.stripe.com/...) and donation links (donate.stripe.com/...)
PayPalpaypal.me/yourname, paypal.com/paypalme/yourname, payment links (paypal.com/ncp/payment/...), and donate links
GumroadProduct links (gumroad.com/l/...) and your store (yourname.gumroad.com)
Lemon SqueezyCheckout links (yourstore.lemonsqueezy.com/buy/...)
Buy Me a Coffeebuymeacoffee.com/yourname
Ko-fiko-fi.com/yourname

pageo checks the address of each link. A link to any other site stays a plain link.

Add a payment link

  1. Make the checkout in your provider's dashboard and copy its link.
  2. In the editor, choose Edit, then add a link and paste the checkout link.
  3. Choose Preview link. The Show as payment option turns on.
  4. Pick the button: Buy, Pay, Book, Tip, or Donate.
  5. Type a price if you want one, such as "$49" or "From $20".
  6. Choose Add link, then Save in the toolbar.

The card shows your provider's logo, the button, and the price. To make a link a plain link again, turn off Show as payment.

Good to know

  • The price is a label. Your provider charges the amount set in its checkout. Change the label when you change the price there.
  • Clicks, not sales. Analytics counts each tap on the button as a link click. Your provider's dashboard shows the sales.
  • Refunds, receipts, and tax are handled by your provider.

Work with me

Each service on your work page can also take a Payment link. It adds a Pay on button for that provider next to Request this. See Work with me.
