A page view is counted each time a browser loads a page. Total page views show how often a page is seen, repeat visits included.
Every time someone opens or reloads a page, analytics counts one page view. One person who opens your page three times in a day adds three page views.
Unique visitors count people instead of loads. Analytics tools estimate them with cookies or other signals, so the number is an estimate, especially when visitors block tracking.
Page views are the base for most other numbers. Click-through rate and conversion rate both divide by views or visits.
Example
A musician's page gets 2,000 page views in the week a video takes off, up from 200. Most of the new views come from TikTok.
In pageo
pageo counts views of your page and shows them by day and by country. The Free plan shows the last 7 and 30 days, and Pro adds 90 days and all time.
