A link in bio is the single clickable link in a social media profile. It usually points to a page that holds all of a person's other links.
Most social apps let you add one clickable website link to your profile, and posts on some apps cannot hold clickable links at all. "Link in bio" is the phrase people use in a caption to send readers to that profile link.
Because there is room for only one link, most people point it at a page that lists everything else: their latest video, their shop, a booking page, and their other profiles. That page is also called a link-in-bio page or a bio link page.
A good link-in-bio page loads fast on a phone, puts the most important link first, and can change when your priorities change, without editing every profile.
Example
A podcaster ends each Instagram post with "New episode, link in bio". The profile link opens a page with the episode player, a subscribe button, and links to Spotify and YouTube.
