building pageo
1 min read
I spend a lot of time making things on the internet:
- client sites
- small tools like clyp
- and side projects that never quite end. Every time I shared one, I ran into the same problem. The link in my bio pointed to a page that looked like everyone else's, told me almost nothing about who clicked, and dropped every message into a different inbox.
So I built the page I wanted.
One page that does the work
pageo is a link-in-bio page, but the page is only the start. Everything it brings in lands in one place:
- Forms go to one inbox, with an email when someone writes.
- Subscribers join an audience you can email when you ship something.
- Clicks and visits show up in analytics, free for the last 7 and 30 days.
Built for people who make things
I wanted it to feel like a page, not a template. You pick a layout, a page color, a card color, and a font pair. You can show your GitHub contributions, your latest YouTube videos, your Dribbble shots, or a map of your city.
And because I am a developer, your whole page can live in a pageo.json file on GitHub. Push to main and your page updates.
What it costs
pageo is free to start. Pro is $4 a month, or $40 a year, and adds custom domains, longer analytics, and the tools that cost me money to run. Your price stays the same while you stay subscribed.
If you want to try it, the link is on this page. I read every email.
